One of my favorite family sessions to date took place on Old Orchard Beach in Southern Maine. The morning was cool and peaceful. We gathered at the grandmother’s beach home, just steps away from the sandy shore and crashing waves. The light that morning was absolutely perfect, casting a soft glow on the family as they stood together for photos.
As we wrapped up the session, the sun disappeared behind the clouds and a light rain began to fall. We were incredibly lucky to have captured such beautiful moments just before the weather turned. I love morning sessions on the beach. The atmosphere is quiet and serene, perfect for capturing authentic moments between family members.
Extended family sessions hold a special place in my heart, as they bring together multiple generations for a memorable experience. It’s a joy to see grandparents, parents, and children interacting and creating lasting memories together. The bond between family members is truly something special to witness and capture through photography.
This particular family holds a special place in my photography journey. I have had the privilege of photographing them for several years now. Watching the kids grow and change year after year is a true honor. I am grateful to be able to document their milestones and moments together. Being a Photographer in Southern Maine allows me to connect with families in this beautiful area and create lasting memories that they can cherish for years to come.
Each session on Old Orchard Beach brings its own unique energy and beauty. I am always amazed at the love and connection that shines through in every photograph. I look forward to many more sessions with this wonderful family this fall for their annual family photos.
