When our son was born I knew I wanted to get photos of our new family in our home. This was a place that is extremely important to us. I decided to set up the tripod and take a few photos of us. I chose to use a small window where the light was just gorgeous.
At this time I was drawn towards black and white images. There was something so timeless and classic about these images.

My favorite element of these images was showcasing the size of our son. He was so tiny and innocent. I love seeing his tiny little finger wrapped around ours. Nothing can prepare your for how fast they grow.
