I know I say this often, but this session truly hit differently.

I arrived at the end of a long, exhausting week — the kind where you feel like you’re running on fumes. And then this incredible, joy-filled extended family stepped in and completely changed the trajectory of my day.

From the very first minute, we were laughing. Not those polite, camera-ready chuckles… I’m talking full-on, belly-deep laughter — the kind that leaves your cheeks sore by the end. Their energy was infectious. Their kindness was effortless. And their connection reminded me exactly why I love this work so much.

I enjoy every session I photograph, but I genuinely didn’t want this one to end. I could have stayed with them all night. At one point, I even joked (but kind of meant it!) about getting adopted into the family — that’s how welcomed I felt.
