This year’s session with this sweet family was one for the books. I’ve been photographing them for years—long before they became a family of five—and every season they show up ready to shine. But this fall? They absolutely crushed it.

We met at Pleasant Hill Preserve in Scarborough for a quick 30-minute session. It was chilly, the kind of crisp Maine air that makes you rethink whether you brought enough layers… and yet they arrived with warmth, energy, and the most gorgeous, classic style. I mean—tell me they didn’t bring full royal family vibes?! If you know me, you know I adore Kate Middleton’s timeless, effortless look, so this session had me swooning.

But the magic wasn’t just in the outfits.

It was the laughter.
The playful moments.
The way the kids leaned into the fun.
The happiness that radiated from them without trying.

Every year I feel so grateful to have them in front of my camera, and each time I leave thinking, “How do they keep getting cuter?” Having families who trust me, grow with me, and let me document their story year after year is one of the biggest blessings of this job.
